Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based therapy derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy and Positive Psychology.

The strategies and skills that you will learn to use are Mindfulness, Distress Tolerance, Emotion Regulation and Interpersonal Effectiveness. You will use these skills along with practicing restructuring your thoughts and reinforcing positive behaviors in order to bring forth effective change. You will learn and practice implementing the DBT Treatment Assumptions in your everyday life to get closer to living a life you love.

DBT is effective in treating and managing: Addictions, ADHD, Anxiety Disorders, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, PTSD, Panic Disorders, Phobias, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Seasonal Affective Disorder, Schizophrenia, Personality Disorders, Borderline Personality Disorder, Individual and Relationship Challenges.
